What is your cancellation policy?

  1. Due to the customization of each DIY paint sign, we do require each person in attendance to preorder the design they would like to paint. If a cancelation is received before 24 hours there is no penalty, and a full refund will be given. Any cancelation after 24 hours will result in a Painting With Purpose credit that will expire one year from the date given.  
  2. There is minimum of 8 attendees per private event.  If you have fewer than 8 attendees in attendance, we reserve the right to cancel the event.  
  3. Private event cancelation must be done prior to 48 hours in advance.  The penalty for a cancelation of a private event within 48 hours of the event is everyone will receive a credit for $10 less than what they paid (if paid $45, you will receive a $35 Painting With Purpose credit) to be used toward a future Painting With Purpose DIY workshop. This is because everything will be prepped and ready for the DIY workshop prior to the 48 hours.   
  4. No Shows will forfeit the entire amount paid, and will not receive any credit for future DIY workshops.
Is there an age restriction to attend?

  1. Yes. children under the age of 16 will be permitted to attend a public DIY painting workshop.  
  2. There will be specified monthly events, where we will welcome children to come and paint with an adult.  
  3. We do allow children to attend private DIY workshops with an accompanying adult.
Do I have to preregister for painting parties?

Yes. We prep all the stencils ahead of time, so when you arrive at the DIY workshop, you will have everything all ready to go.

Do I have to choose my colors when I place my order?

  1. No.  You choose your colors the day of the event.  The designs on the design gallery are computer mock ups, and most are in black and white.
  2. We will have 20+ colors to choose from as well as several sparkly finishing touches.  
  3. The Inspiration Gallery has several projects that others have painted.  Check out those gorgeous DIY projects!
What are the requirements for booking an in home party?

  1. There is a minimum of 8 projects required.
  2. If the in home DIY workshop has 10 painters, the host’s piece is free as Painting With Purpose’s “thank you” for hosting!
  3. The host is responsible for having tables and chairs for the painters.  Painting With Purpose will have everything else we need to complete these one of a kind projects (including table coverings).
How do I book a private in home party?

  1. Click on the “Book a Party” tab.
  2. Read over the page and click “Book Now.”
  3. Choose a date and click “Add to Cart."
  4. Then proceed to checkout.  In the checkout you can use the free payment option and add any relevant comments to the order.
  5. We will contact you to confirm and give you a bit more information within 2 days of booking.  
  6. Please understand we reserve the right to turn down in home parties for any reason.  These reasons may include (but are not limited to) the distance is too far, instructor safety, availability of instructors, etc.
How do I book a fundraiser?

  1. Read more about the fundraisers/purposes on the “The Purpose” tab.
  2. Message on Facebook, email, or use our contact form to set up a DIY painting fundraiser.  From there we will discuss event details and assist you setting up the event.
